Why Go?

For classic, no-frills katsu (cutlet) favourites that have withstood the test of time in one of Japan’s oldest katsu houses.

Tatler Tips

Select a seat by the open kitchen to see how dishes are masterfully created.

  • The house speciality, Kurobuta katsu set, is a hearty meal with its thick cut of Black Bershire pig priced for its marbling and succulence. It is nicely coated with homemade panko (breadcrumbs), which highlight the flavour of the meat.
  • The special katsudon set includes a tender hire (pork fillet) simmered for hours and drizzled with a tangy sauce, and two farm fresh eggs on top of fragrant Japanese Koshihikari rice.
  • For those on the go, try the katsu sando, perfectly crisp hire sandwiched between soft bread and seasoned with two sauces.
